9:00-10:00Macroeconomic outlook in 2021——Xiao Lisheng, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Xiao Lisheng, doctor of Economics, director of International Financial Office of Research Institute of World Economics and Politics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, associate research fellow and master's supervisor. His major research areas are international finance and China macro economy, global macro-economic trend and RMB exchange rate. He published many dissertations in core journals like “Economic Research” and “Journal Management World”. He also attended various government seminars over macro economy and compiled many decision advisory reports and obtained several Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Excellent Countermeasures Award. 10:00-10:30Sustainable development vision of regenerated cellulose fiber——Zhang Zixin, Collaboration for Sustainable Development of Viscose Zhang Zixin, Master of School of Materials of Donghua University. He has been responsible for the management of the regenerated cellulose fiber industry and the development of relevant industry standards in the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association. He jointly edited "Guidelines for Viscose Fiber Industry", "Cleaner Production Evaluation Index System for Regenerated Cellulose Fiber Manufacturing (Viscose Method) ", and wrote "Research on the 13th Five-Year Plan for Development of Regenerated Cellulose Fiber Industry", “Regenerated Cellulose (Viscose) Fiber Industry Development and Environmental Protection” and so on. Besides, he also participated in the preparation and revision of many national, industry, and community standards such as “Lyocell Staple Fiber”.

Mr. Chen is also the vice chairman of the fourth expert committee of "China Textile Leader" and the certified expert of the Higher Education Teaching Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education/China Engineering Education Accreditation Association. Christian holds a bachelor degree in marketing from Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris and a master degree in business administration from Columbia University in New York.
11:15-11:40From cellulose pulp into textile fibre-certain critical factors affecting the conversion—Heikki Hassi & Xiang You, Scitech Dr. Heikki Hassi has more than 30 years of experience in management and executive positions in leading international companies in the pulp, paper, and cellulosic textile fibre industry in Finland, Central Europe, and Indonesia. He has led major mill/business operations as well as R&D, technology, and investment functions and projects. Currently, he is the chairman and a senior partner in SciTech-Service Oy, Ltd, a provider of R&D, process up-scaling, and conceptual engineering services to biomass-based industries, globally (https://www.scitech.fi ). He earned his Ph.D. (chemistry) degree at North Carolina State University, U.S.A. in 1985 and M.Sc. (pulp and paper) degree at Helsinki University of Technology, Finland (Aalto University) in 1978. He is an inventor in several patents. Dr. Xiang You is currently a Post-doc in SciTech-Service Oy, Ltd, which she joined in late 2019. She investigates the new feedstock for the manufacture of viscose fiber and targets to enable process intensification. Previously, Xiang worked in a Nordic innovation consulting company. Together with the team, she coordinated a large-scale innovation project with a volume of over €1 B. Xiang was in charge of promoting international cooperation and networking and bridging between Chinese and Finnish technological actors. All the while ensuring that the program followed a high scientific standard and creates industrial value. Xiang holds a Ph.D. in Biorefineries from Aalto University (Finland). She has many scientific publications on biomass fractionation, pulp characterization and valorization, the processability of cellulose in MMCF manufacture, and one worldwide patent. During her post-doc time, she has worked in both Australia and Finland.
11:40-12:00Recycling of textiles – a unique opportunity for the MMCF industry—Johannes Bogren, Södra Johannes is the Vice President of Södra Cell Bioproducts. His responsibilities include the marketing and sales of Södra's dissolving pulp, tall oil, turpentine and biomethanol. He joined Södra in 2008 via Södra Innovation and soon became involved in Södra's conversion of one of Södra Cell Mörrum mill's lines to dissolving pulp. Since then he's been the Technical Product Manager for dissolving pulp and for the last 2 years he's been managing the Bioproducts team. Johannes is one of the initiators of the OnceMore project and an advocate for textile recycling.
