The report is mainly divided into fourth parts.

Part One: Industry Trends Amid Trade Wars. Mr. Zhang noted that the industry's average operating rate is currently at a high level, with production showing relatively rapid year-on-year growth. According to data from the China Chemical Fibers Association, the annual chemical fiber output in 2024 reached 74.75 million tons, an increase of 8.8% year-on-year. Fixed-asset investment growth has rebounded, while actual new capacity expansion has slowed. New polyester production capacity is mainly concentrated in bottle-grade chips, with 4.05 million tons added, accounting for about 55% of the total. In the first two decades of the 21st century, global chemical fiber growth remained high, with an average annual growth rate of about 4.0%. However, from 2019 to 2023, influenced by the global economy and sluggish demand for textiles, the average fiber growth rate declined to 1.8%. Mr. Zhang also analyzed China's import and export situation for regenerated cellulose fiber and elaborated on the logic behind fiber consumption growth and perspectives on trade wars.

Part Two: Opportunities and Challenges of the AI Revolution. This section focused on the development history and industrial applications of AI, with core applications divided into six major areas. Case studies from key industries were shared. AI applications exhibit user characteristics such as a younger demographic, tool-oriented usage, and emotional engagement. Application-layer enterprises show a high adoption rate, with inference costs significantly lower than those of international competitors. However, challenges remain, including coexisting high willingness to pay with substitution anxiety, as well as the need to balance technological dividends with ethical risks.

Part Three: Policy Directions for the 15th"Five-Year Plan. Mr. Zhang reviewed revisions to national regulatory conditions, noting that, in principle, no new conventional viscose staple fiber or filament projects will be approved. Policy support will focus on tackling "bottleneck" issues in major technical equipment and enhancing the resilience and security of industrial and supply chains. He also shared some insights on industry self-regulation.

Part Four: Brand Building for Regenerated Cellulose Fiber.  This section explored the concept of brands from both corporate and consumer perspectives, with a focus on policy directions, brand classification, and intrinsic attributes (technological advancement, social responsibility, end-consumer demand, and marketing strategies). Mr. Zhang also shared case studies on brand marketing and compared the characteristics of new product promotion cases between domestic and foreign companies.
