Since China entered the WTO in 2001, China's chemical fiber and textile industry has experienced rapid development and rewritten the global fiber and textile industry layout under the background of global peaceful development. In recent years, the tone of world peaceful development has begun to undergo subtle changes. Global economic growth is slowing down, geopolitical conflicts, economic and trade frictions are escalating. Especially in 2023 when the global economy is facing recession and under the counter force of China's all-out efforts towards growth, the chemical fiber industry is facing opportunities and challenges under uncertainty.

As the earliest chemical fiber product, cellulose fiber industry has achieved the growth in the past 20 years that has never been seen in the previous 100 years. Where does the driving force for later development come from? How to improve product competitiveness? What are the changes in the global textile and apparel pattern? How to deal with fluctuations in feedstock and auxiliary materials? Which new products, new technologies, and new processes can be paid attention to?
