Lei Jihu from Topsoe (Beijing), delivered his speech of Topsoe's overall solutions for treating various waste gases from viscose fiber plants

Mr. Lei first gave a brief introduction of Topsoe - Topsoe is dedicated to developing technologies and providing solutions for energy transition and environmentally friendly emissions in the fuel production and chemical industries. And his presentation was divided into two parts:

First, the WSA technology (sulfuric acid). WSA is a process to recover various sulfur-containing compounds into commercial grade concentrated sulfuric acid with environmentally friendly emissions, and WSA treats lean and rich gas from viscose plants and blends sulfur to generate the demanded sulfuric acid.

Second, POC technology (sulfur). In this part Mr. Lei showed us the application of POC technology in viscose fiber industry, and compared POC with soda washing technology to show the various advantages of POC technology.
