Huang Wenbin, Deputy General Manager of Sustainable Development of Sateri Group, delivered his speech of Collaborate, innovate, build a green and diverse future

In the first part, Mr. Huang explained the risks faced by the world and the significance of sustainable development. Mr. Huang, based on the "Global Risk Report 2023" released by the World Economic Forum, introduced the recent risks of economic recession, rising cost of living, debt crisis, and climate issues. In the next ten years, global risks will be more related to sustainable development, focusing on addressing issues such as loss of biodiversity and environmental degradation.

In the second part, Mr. Huang presented Sateri's sustainable development strategy and goals. Sateri's sustainable development vision focuses on four aspects: climate and ecosystem protection, closed-loop clean production, innovation and circulation, and inclusive growth. The company aims to steadily develop while achieving energy conservation, emission reduction, and realizing shared development and prosperity. Sateri plans to establish an emission data collection system in the short term, cooperate on the value chain and jointly develop and implement greenhouse gas emission reduction plans in the medium term, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions according to the established goals and roadmap in the long term.

In the third part, Huang discussed Sateri's work in sustainable development. The company established a carbon management committee to conduct greenhouse gas accounting and management for all narrow operating business segments, conducted a feasibility study on science-based carbon goals, developed and utilized renewable energy, implemented fine-grained energy management, and explored value chain emission reductions. Additionally, Sadel developed carbon-neutral products by referring to the international standard database.
