Zhao Wei, member of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government Advisory Committee and chief professor of the Private Economy Research Center of Zhejiang University, delivered his speech of World and China's economic trends, high-level strategy and our choices.

The speech is divided into three parts.

First, Mr. Zhao states the tendency and general trend of world economy, and use spatial economics to see the world economy. The economy is still growing despite troubles, while recently, the growth slows down. Besides, Mr. Zhao also introduces a big background, the United States and China lead the new cold war, and three periods, the past, present, and future. For the future of word economy, the growth may slow down in short run, and in medium to long run, low growth may be seen.

Second, Mr. Zhao introduces the tendency and general trend of China economy. He expects that the economy may speed up compared to 2022, but not to be too high. It is expected continuous decline in potential economic growth rate. But in long run, China's economy still has tremendous potential by advantages of a large economy and high-volume mass consumption.

Third, Mr. Zhao expresses high-level strategy and our choices. The high-level strategy will promote growth in short. In medium and long run, the high-level strategy will be led by national strategy, three regions, two basins, the Belt and Road Initiative and the new dual circulation development pattern. For the options of the general public, they shall comply with macroeconomic policies, keep an eye on the currency and house, pay taxes according to the rules and be careful buying a house in a foreign country!
