When cellulose fiber capacity is expanding fast, changes are occurring in feedstock and downstream market. In dissolving pulp market, swing mills take up increasing percentage. Will pulp supply be ample? What about influential factors? Textile market is unusually depressed in the fourth quarter of 2018. Is it casual or will it become normal? China may not sustain cotton auction due to fewer cotton reserves, how to adapt to cotton quota policy change? Could non-cotton demand help absorb huge cellulose fiber capacity growth?

10:55	Path exploration of China VSF sustainable development ——Zhang Zixin, Collaboration for Sustainable Development of Viscose Zhang Zixin, Master of School of Materials of Donghua University. He was responsible for the management of the regenerated cellulose fiber industry and the development of relevant industry standards in the China Chemical Fiber Industry Association. He jointly edited "Guidelines for Viscose Fiber Industry", "Cleaner Production Evaluation Index System for Regenerated Cellulose Fiber Manufacturing (Viscose Method) ", and wrote "Research on the "13th Five-Year Plan for Development" of Regenerated Cellulose Fiber Industry", “Regenerated Cellulose (Viscose) Fiber Industry Development and Environmental Protection” and so on. Besides, he also participated in the preparation and revision of many national, industry, and community standards such as “Lyocell Staple Fiber”. Abstract: The three-year action plan for the green development of the regenerated cellulose fiber industry. Green development has become one of the core topics for the healthy development of the chemical fiber industry in the future. Cellulose fiber (Viscose fiber), as the earliest chemical fiber product, has been pressured by various parties at home and abroad in environmental protection. In order to explore and promote the industry's sustainable development model, to minimize the impact of the production of regenerated cellulose fibers and the entire life cycle on the environment, the Chemical Fiber Association, Cotton Spinning Association, Tangshan Sanyou, Sateri Shandong Yamei, Yibin Grace, CHTC Helon, Zhejiang Fulida, Funing Aoyang, Jilin Chemical Fiber, Xinxiang Chemical Fiber, and Shandong Silver Hawk jointly established "Collaboration for Sustainable Development of Viscose" in 2018. During the meeting, we will share the vision of the alliance, the progress of each project and the future work plan.
11:30	Status quo of China cellulose fiber industry and outlook for next 3 years ——Kevin Ding, CCFGroup Kevin Ding is now working as manager and industry analyst of CCFGroup. He has been engaged in viscose fiber industry research for 13 years and is now responsible for the research on mutual influence between cotton textile raw materials and macro economy. Mr. Ding has successfully forecasted the appearance of major market change for several times. He has organized the largest worldwide cellulose fiber industry forum for 12 times and delivered speeches on several conferences. He is also appointed as the consultant by some enterprises. Since 2017, he has been planning to combine industry informatization and commerce service. Currently, tailored financial service for viscose fiber supply chain has officially begun. CCFGroup viscose information covers 100% of global viscose industry and 95% of dissolving wood pulp industry. Some indexes have been taken as reference for contract settlement. During final ruling of anti-dumping cases, CCFGroup DWP index is the only reference index in the arbitral awards.

14:00	Logical deduction of China cotton market under the background of reform and the impact on textile industry development ——Xia Shihui, CCFGroup Xia Shihui, Master of Finance graduated from Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics, CFA candidate, is now an analyst of Zhejiang Huarui Information Consulting Co., Ltd. Mr. Feng Xin has Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School (Cambridge) and Bachelors in Industrial Commerce from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
15:00	Technological innovation and application of nonwovens wiping material ——Jin Xiangyu, Donghua University Professor and Doctor Supervisor Jin Xiangyu, is deputy director of the Industrial Textiles Engineering Center of the Ministry of Education, director of the Nonwovens Research and Development Center of Donghua University, and also deputy director of the Nonwoven Materials and Engineering Branch of the Textile Specialty in College of the MOE, and deputy director of the Academic Textiles Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society, and director of the China Geosynthetics Association, and the Vice President of the Spunlace Branch of China Industrial Textiles Association. Jin’s research direction is non-woven technology and intelligence, and his study scope includes structural properties and industrialization of biomass non-woven materials, multifunctional non-woven materials and performance evaluation, medical and non-woven materials processing technology and engineering, modified & double component polyolefin low resistance filter material, and geosynthetics research and environmental engineering applications. Jin has presided over the completion of the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Science and Technology Support Project “Processing Technology and Industrialization of Medical Protective Materials”, and chaired "Polylactic acid (PLA) Spinning Ultrafine Nonwovens Processing Technology", " Technology and Application of Bicomponent Spunbonded Nonwoven Fabrics", and so on. Jin’s project “Processing Technology and Industrialization of Medical Protective Materials” has won the first prize of Science and Technology of China Textile Industry Association, and his “Technology and Product Application of High-Efficiency Energy-saving and Emission-Reducing Spunlace” and “Non-woven Materials for Medical and Health Technology and Industrialization" were awarded the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress. Published 22 SCI papers and authorized 30 invention patents. Jin’s editorial National Planning Academy textbook "Nonweaving" and "Nonwoven Experiment" has won the second prize for science and technology of the China Textile Industry Association. More than 60 doctoral and master students were trained by Jin at home and abroad.

16:20	The importance of sustainably managed forests for fashion ——Birgit Lia Fain, UNECE & Fabienne Sinclair, PEFC Birgit Lia Fain is an Ass. Economic Affairs Officer working in the Forestry and Timber Section of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), where she focusses on Forest Sector Outlook Studies and Sustainable Fashion. With respect to the latter, she and her team have organized several events related to “Forest for Fashion” and established the “UN Alliance on Sustainable Fashion” including 10 different UN organizations. Prior to UNECE, Ms. Fain held positions at UN ECLAC, the German Federal Ministry of Finance, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), the Permanent Mission of Germany to the UN, and the European Parliament. Ms. Fain received her MSc in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and Sciences Po Paris. Fabienne Sinclair is currently Head of Marketing at PEFC International, which she joined in late 2015. She leads the end users and retailers engagement programme across sectors, promoting PEFC responsible forestry Standards for supply chain traceability assurance. “Forests for Fashion” is the PEFC & UNECE marketing campaign, promoting sustainably managed forests and traceability certification to the textile sector. Previously, Fabienne worked for 15 years in the consumer goods industry in various marketing roles of brand management, category development and integrated communications. She briefly worked as a consultant for the International Trade Centre part of World Trade Organisation on the launch of the SustainabilityXchange online platform. She graduated from?Nantes University, France,?in business management and further studied marketing in London with the?Chartered Institute of Marketing.

9:00	Wood based fibre – The sustainable choice for a tomorrow that is better than today ——Mohamed Mansoor, Sappi Qualifications: MBA , BSc Hons (Chemistry) , BSC (Chemistry and Mathematics Majors) Appointed: January 2018 , Joined Saiccor mill August 1991 Skills, expertise and experience Mr. Mansoor joined Sappi at Saiccor mill in 1991 where he was responsible for process investigations, customer complaints, quality control , manufacturing cost reduction initiatives and technical application support for dissolving wood pulp customers in Europe and USA. In January 1999, he was appointed as Product Manager Sappi Dissolving Wood Pulp and relocated to Hong Kong. In January 2001 Mr. Mansoor was appointed Commercial Manager Pulp responsible for dissolving wood pulp sales in South East Asia. In June 2007 he was appointed General Manager Pulp in Hong Kong with responsibility for the global sales of dissolving wood pulp after spending three years as Vice President Pulp Sales in Sappi’s New York office and in January 2018 , he joined the Group Executive Committee as Executive Vice President Sappi Dissolving Wood Pulp. He has a solid sales and technical background and customer relationships together with a strong track record of delivering sales results. His expertise includes contract negotiation and management, supply chain management, strategic planning, sales management, key account management, dissolving wood pulp, international logistics and technical application support.
9:30	The status quo and development trend of China caustic soda industry ——Wang Li, CCAON CCAON was initiated by China Chlor-Alkali Industry Association (CCAIA) and was jointly established by five key enterprises in the industry. 11:00	The outlook for market pulp ——Oliver Lansdell, Hawkins Wright Oliver is an industry analyst and consultant with more than 15 years' experience in the international pulp and paper industry. He has been with Hawkins Wright since 2007, working as one of the editors of Pulpwatch, Hawkins Wright’s monthly newsletter, the co-author of the Outlook for Market Pulp service, and the principal author of the Outlook for Dissolving Pulp. Prior to joining the company, Oliver worked as an analyst with the Pulp and Paper Products Council (PPPC) in Montreal, Canada. Oliver has lead multiple consultancy projects including feasibility studies for pulp mills in Latin America, Russia and South East Asia. He presents frequently at industry gatherings.
11:30	Safety in Production and Handling of Carbon Disulfide ——Theo van Hoek, Nouryon Mr. Theo van Hoek, Project Manager within Nouryon’s (former AkzoNobel) Sulfur Derivatives Technology Group. As a graduated Engineer in Chemistry he started his career with responsibilities in production and laboratory analysis of organic solvents. From 1983 on he has been involved in carbon disulfide at the (nowadays) Nouryon’s site at Cologne, Germany.
